Program:
Day 1.
Arrival to the Osh airport. Meeting, instructions. Check-in at the hotel. If the flight is early, heading to the Base Camp. The Base Camp is located in the Alay Valley. The road will take 5-6 hours. We will cross the border of plains and mountains, getting into the magical realm of green valley of flowers, red rocks and crystal-shining snowy peaks
Day 2.
Transfer from Osh to the Base Camp. Settlement in two-person tents. Briefing. The hot sun left in Osh. Welcome coolness of glaciers, especially at nights. Watch out the temperature and put on something warm
Day 3.
The first acclimatization climb. Packing light and climbing to Petrovsky Peak (4830), taking photos and enjoying the nature around. Getting lower to the point of 4000m, resting and drinking tea. Going downwards to the BC.
Day 4.
Moving to the Camp 1 (4400). Today we carry all the equipment and food for Camps 2 and 3. It will be a monotonous and quite tiring hike. If the backpacks are too heavy, it is possible to hire carriers on horses. Here you can see the entire face of the majestic seven-thousander and glaciers that cool the air. It can be very cold at nights.
Day 5.
Packing the equipment and heading to Yuhin Peak (5100). It is very important to sleep at that altitude. It will help your body adapt to the altitude of Camp 2. The whole route is a simple hike
Day 6.
Getting up early, drinking tea, breaking camp and dropping altitude. Having breakfast at Camp 1. Going to the glacier for Snow & Ice training.
Day 7.
Rest day. Recovering and getting ready to the next day. It will be a hard day. Lights out early.
Day 8.
Climbing at night. All the equipment was packed the day before. Heading to Camp 2 (5300). The climb will take 8-10 hours. We will have to cross many cracks, will be moving together (with belays between us) and carrying heavy backpacks. It will be really hot. You will feel how your energy melts under the sun. This climb may wear you down both physically and mentally. Here you will realize the value of the hours spent in the gym and on the jogging track.
Day 9.
Getting up early again. Our goal is to achieve Camp 3 (6200) without weight. The best variant is if we spend night at that altitude. We will climb above the clouds. Looking at the summit that shines under the sunlight
Day 14.
Relax is over. Time to start the crucial part of our expedition – coming back to the start point of the summit assault (Camp 3). We will do that in 3 days
Day 15.
Heading to Camp 2 (start at night). We have already been here that is why the climb will be much easier for you – climbing faster and feeling better
Day 17.
SUMMIT DAY. Today you will realize that everything that you have done was not in vain. Start at 4-5 am. Put on everything that we have brought here. It may be very cold up there. Peak “Razdelynoy”, ridge “knife”, “rocky valley”, “parachutes’ plateau”. The summit and tears of joy. But don’t ease off! The hardest part of the route is ahead – descending when where is almost no energy and willpower.
Day 18.
Reserve day in case of bad weather on the summit day. Sitting in the tents and saving energy for the summit assault.
Day 19.
Descend to the Base Camp. Welcome back to the flavors, bright colors, oxygen and tasty food!
Day 21.
The end of our expedition. Exchange your E-Mail addresses, photos and videos. Departure. See you on the next summit!
