Program:

Arrival of members of a group in Mineral Waters, meeting at the airport (14-00 near the fountain), after meeting at the railway station (14-30) for those who decided to arrive by train. Then we leave for pos. Terskol. Chek in apartment or hotel (depends on the number of participants in the group) and get acquainted with the team. In the evening, after dinner, we organize an organizational meeting. We will have such meetings every day, to tell you more about the program of the upcoming day, and of course you can ask questions that interest you;

2 day.

2 day.

The first day of acclimatization. We get acquainted with the mountains, move to the side of the observatory, our goal is 3000 m. The path passes through the waterfall "Devichye Kosy" (if you wish you can swim in it’s icy water), basalt sculptures are excellent places for photographing. Having admired the beautiful views, we descend to our base camp;

3 day.

3 day.

Competent acclimatization is the key to success, so we continue. On this day, we climb up to a height of 3,400 m to the Cheget mountain. On the way we will stop in a cafe where you can taste dishes of national cuisine. Similarly, our view will open up the tall and mighty Elbrus, of course, provided the cloudless weather. Tired, but satisfied come back. We dine, recover and prepare for settling in the hut - which will be our assault camp. If you need you take the equipment for hire, in the evening, under the guidance of the guide, we are trying on and fitting everything necessary;

4 day.

4 day.

The beginning of the second stage - the high-altitude acclimatization. With all the equipment and products, we advance to the Azau glade, climb the cable car to Gara-Bash station. At 30 meters from the station there is a hut - our assault camp, the height is 3,700 m. We are located, and if the weather permits, then we will walk to the Shelter-11, 4 050 m. We get acquainted with the route for the next day, admiring the superb views. Then we have a dinner and the first night in the hut;

5 day.

5 day.

Getting up, breakfast and the next acclimatization exit to Pastukhov Rocks (4 700 m) or higher (5 000 m), if the weather permits and the forces remain. This is already quite a serious height and according to your condition you can already determine whether you are ready for the ascent. We go down to the hut, have a dinner. The second night;

6 day.

6 day.

Day of the rest. It is one of the simplest. We will have snow and ice classes, on which you will learn and work out the technique of movement in ski crampons, which we will need on the route, the methods of self-restraint in case of a breakdown. If you want you can walk to the station "Mir" (3,500 m), breathe the clean, mountain air. There are many cafes, if you want, you can look in one of them and have a snack. We can play games, sing songs to the guitar. But do not forget the main goal of this day is rest and restoration of strength. Well, in the evening we have a dinner and as usual, meeting. Early retirement;

7 day.

7 day.

The day of the ascent. Getting up at night and exit (about 3 am). On the way to our cherished goal, we admire the sunrise and the peaks of the Main Caucasian Range. On the saddle we will make a small stop. We drink tea, tune in and gain strength for the final jerk. And here it is, Top! We contemplate the panorama, congratulate each other, tears of joy, making photos and going down, into the assault camp. Here we collect all our belongings and on the same day we descend on the cable car to the Azau, and transfer to the base camp. We return the equipment that was taken for hire. Dinner;

8 day.

Reserve day for a case of bad weather. If you were lucky and there was good weather on the first day of the assault, you visited the summit of Elbrus, then on this day you can: - take a walk in the Terskol gorge, see one of the most beautiful waterfalls; - to visit the Cheget glade, with many restaurants and cafes. There is also a market on it, where you can buy souvenirs, herbal tea collected manually in the Elbrus region; - to go to the glade of narzans (sources of mineral water); - Steam in the bathhouse, there are plenty of them; - in the evening the whole group can gather in a cafe, restaurant and celebrate such a significant event for everyone;

9 day.

9 day.

Day of departure. So the 9 days of the program ascending the Elbrus from the south have ended unforgettable. A lot of emotions, unforgettable impressions, new friends. It's not sad, but I'll have to say goodbye. The planned arrival of a minibus to the airport of Mineralnye Vody is 12-00. If necessary, after the stop at the airport you will be taken to the railway station.

-   Chairlift transport to the hut and back to Terskol (20 USD per person);

-   Snow Cat lift up fees on the Summit Day (optional, 60 - 140 USD, the cost depends on the height and number of people);

-   “Elbrus” National Park fees (5 USD);

-   Insurance policy;

-   SNACKS WHEN CLIMBING!!! (fast carbohydrates: sweets, dried fruits, candies, etc.).
