Alpine equipment is extremely expensive. If you are not going to become a professional mountaineer, it is better to rent the items you do not already own. Please see below for an estimated cost of rental per day in US dollars. You can either use our rental service or find all necessary equipment in other rental shops in Terskol.
Please note that the prices and rental periods in the list only apply to climbing Elbrus from the south. If you are climbing Elbrus from the east, the rental period may be increased up to 9 days. In case of climbing Elbrus from the north or climbing Kazbek, the rental period is also increased up to 9 days and the prices may differ (rentals in Pyatigorsk and Mineralnye Vody). The rental period for the Lenin Peak expedition is 21 days.
